Parents
Parents and Friends Association
NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOMEIt is with pleasure that the PFA put this web page together to provide information about our Association to those visiting our school's website.
The PFA consists of a group of parents with children at the school, teachers and friends of the school. We meet every month (excluding school holidays) in the school staff room.
Our main contributions to the school are:
- To organise fundraising activities to ensure our children have the benefit of the best equipment and programs we can afford. Fundraisers are planned in a variety of ways so that everyone can participate and enjoy themselves.
- To plan social activities where parents and children can get to know one another. These events help build a stronger school community spirit while having fun.
- To provide a forum for all parents to discuss ideas, issues, exchange information and share concerns in an informal setting.
Our committee in 2009 consists of the following office bearers:
President Mrs. Karen Beecher
Vice president Mrs. Lucinda Murphy
Secretary Mrs. Fiona Visser
Treasurer Vacant
Minute Secretary Mrs. Fiona Visser
We appreciate all the efforts of everyone who helps these dedicated parents and look forward to welcoming new committee members
Please note our Annual General Meeting is held at our March meeting, in the staffroom at 7:30pm. We are always keen to invite new parents to come along and be part of the group.
