Great Ryrie Primary School understands:
- School charges paid by parents are a vital component of the school’s operating budget. We also understand that this cost can be significant for many families and accordingly we aim to minimise charges and to assist families in financial difficulty.
-
Materials and requisites contribution: The materials and requisites contribution is the only compulsory charge and at the moment it is set at $200.00 per student.
-
Excursions: These are charged individually however parents are able to make lump sum payments in advance (not less than $20 at a time), which can be credited toward these activities. (Normally these total no more than $60-80 per year.)
-
Special Events: These are charged individually and may include programs such as swimming, school camps or in alternating years the ‘school production’.
-
School Library Trust Fund: You are able to make a tax-deductible donation to the school Library Trust Fund. (A suggested amount is $25.00 per family.)
-
First Aid Officer: To continue this worthwhile program we are currently requesting a $20 contribution from each family.
-
School Magazine: The school has a magazine produced annually as a record of the year’s activities. This magazine is commercially produced and costs $10.
-
Christian Religious Education: Involvement in this program costs $5.00.
· If you are in need of making arrangements to ease the financial burden on your family please contact the principal to discuss how we can assist you.
