Hall Hire Policy
Purpose
The Hall has been developed to allow teachers and children to have access to an aesthetically pleasing facility for a variety of indoor physical and cultural activities. It also provides the school community with a facility for use out of school hours.
Guidelines
A sub-committee of School Council will oversee the use of the Hall
In School Time
· Each year teaching staff will prepare an agreed weekly timetable of use
· Access during school time must be under the supervision of teaching staff
· Cleanliness and storage of equipment is the responsibility of all staff. Equipment must be stored after use
Out of School Hours
· Hiring or use of the hall out of school hours is the responsibility of the Hall sub-committee of School Council
· All outside users of the hall must complete the appropriate form of application available from the Office Manager
· The Principal, Principal’s Representative, School Councillor or Sub-committee member will ensure the agreed conditions of hiring are adhered to
· Potential users of the hall will be classified under one of two uses:
1 Short Term/One Off
2 Long Term/Regular Use
· School Council will review usage annually including the fee structure
